Fig 49. Wool & The Gang

I came across Wool & The Gang while searching for inspiration on knitting I am currently making a Wooly Snood in mustard (the colour of this season). Wool & the Gang literally jumped out of the google search compared to there fusty competitors - The Wool Gang have broken into the craft / knitting market with attitude and freshness away from the geriatric market, they have made knitting cool. Press on the title to read more about Wool & The Gang I wish them every success.

Fig 48 Pin terest

I am completely loving Pinterest. Pinterest lets you organize and share all the beautiful things you find on the web. People use pinboards to plan their weddings, decorate their homes, and organize their favorite recipes.
Best of all, you can browse pinboards created by other people. Browsing pinboards is a fun way to discover new things and get inspiration from people who share your interests. Above is an example of one of my boards - 'Delicious Packaging'. I have many, it's away of keeping all my inspiration categorized and up to date with the latest trends, as a designer - this is a perfect tool for me, it allows me endless food for thought. Sign up now, and start pinning.

Fig 47 Ben Howard

Can not get enough of Ben Howard these days his first album was fantastic but his new album - 'Old Pine' makes my insides twist and my head spin, its pure and heart warming and takes me straight back to golden embers on a beach fire with laughter chatter and glowing faces of loved ones, this will be playing on many of my road trips and sunny sat evenings for sure.

Fig 43 I CAN SEE A RAINBOW

I can see a rainbow - I have yet to find the treasure at the end of one but have found many a rainbow which gives me the same joy as a real one -see my three examples above - shower curtain from Anthropologie, tights from Olive Shoppe and a sunset melty image by my favorite photographer Mark Borthwick. I love the colours - how they melt into one another like warm butter or like watching a piece of litmus paper change colour in chemistry lessons.
