I finally went to see Wes Andersons incredible Moonrise Kingdom with my bestie Charlotte. My word what a feast for the eye's, I don't think I blinked all the way through it. The pace was just right, styling and art direction was just overwhelmingly perfect - loved it. The tent, the towel the yellow formica table with the yellow dial phone, the clothes, the font & graphics. Absolutely amazing I could carry on but it would sound like one of those memory games you played as a kid. I thought Rushmore was my favorite but Anderson has set the bar high, This would be hard to beat. Get yourself to the cinema.

"Lucas Grogan is a Melbourne based artist who uses needlepoint, installation, painting and drawing to explore themes of isolation, inclusion and cultural collisions, through an autobiographical lens. Having studied at the University of Newcastle, Grogan has exhibited throughout Australia, USA and Hong Kong. His work has been collected by Newcastle Region Art Gallery, Artbank, Duetsche Bank and private collections."
(Quoted From his website).
I stumbled across Lucas Grogan on Design Files, And im so glad I did. Lucas's designs and intricate patterns are so free and contagious and playful. At the same time beautifully refined and crafted. I can see his work spreading across interiors and fashion house's like wild fire. I love his collection for Rittenhouse, I can't wait to see more of his work in the near future, Im obsessed with blue and denim, so I think that has something to do with it. Getting the bag on pay day, Go Lucas Go

Shot entirely on the Nokia N8 mobile phone. Winner of the Nokia Shorts competition 2011.
How cute and clever is this little short, So many of us live such parallel lives simultaneously, This movie illustrates this in such a simple yet sensitive way - very sweet.
